City of Chicago aldermen have passed two tenant “reform” ordinances out of committee: the Mayor’s Protecting Renters Ordinance (PRO) and Fair and Accountable Illinois Rental Ordinance (FAIR). This sets up a battle for the future of Chicago rental housing at this Wednesday’s Chicago Council meeting.
