Do Not Call (DNC) Policy – Quick Reference Guide

Keep this checklist handy whenever you prospect by phone!

✅ Before You Call

  • Check the National DNC Registry – Scrub your call lists.

  • Check Kale’s Internal DNC List – If someone has asked not to be contacted, you cannot call again.

  • Verify Business Relationship – You may call if:

    • You’ve completed a transaction in the last 18 months, OR

    • The person inquired in the last 3 months.

📋 When You Call

  • Only call between 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM local time.

  • Always identify yourself as a Kale Realty broker.

  • Respect requests to stop calling—add them to Kale’s internal DNC list immediately.

  • Keep notes on the source of your lead and outcome of the call.

🚫 Never Do

  • Do NOT cold-call numbers on the National DNC list without a valid exception.

  • Do NOT ignore “Do Not Call” or “Do Not Contact” requests (verbal or written).

  • Do NOT use autodialers or robocalls for residential prospects.

⚠️ Penalties for Violations

  • Fines of up to $51,744 per call (FTC/TCPA).

  • Possible state penalties and lawsuits.

  • Disciplinary action by Kale Realty.

💡 Best Practices

  • Use Kale-approved CRM tools with DNC compliance.

  • Focus on SOI, referrals, and networking for prospecting.

  • If unsure—don’t call. Choose another method (email, social, mailers).

Remember: Compliance is not optional—it protects you, the brokerage, and our clients.
