✅ GENERAL TIPS (All Rooms)

• Turn all lights ON, including lamps and under-cabinet lighting

• Open all blinds & curtains to let in natural light

• Replace any burned-out light bulbs

• Remove clutter from floors, furniture surfaces & counters

• Hide cords, remotes, personal devices (chargers, Alexa, etc.)

• Remove family photos & personal items

• Tidy shelves, reduce decorative items to 2–3 per surface

• Put away shoes, jackets, backpacks, etc.

🛋️ LIVING ROOM / FAMILY ROOM

• Fluff pillows and neatly fold throws

• Remove magazines, mail, toys, pet beds

• Straighten furniture and rugs

🍽️ KITCHEN

• Clear countertops completely (except 1–2 decor items)

• Put away: toasters, blenders, dish racks, paper towels

• Remove all items from refrigerator front & top

• Hide trash cans & pet bowls

• Clean all stainless steel surfaces & glass

🛏️ BEDROOMS

• Make beds neatly, hotel-style

• Hide all personal items: clothes, phone chargers, laundry baskets

• Remove clutter from nightstands & dressers

🛁 BATHROOMS

• Clear countertops (only 1–2 items max like soap or hand towel)

• Remove toothbrushes, razors, bath mats, and used towels

• Close toilet lids

• Hang fresh, clean, matching towels neatly

• Empty trash cans

🚪 ENTRYWAY

• Sweep porch, remove clutter, shoes, packages

• Add a clean doormat and remove any worn rugs

• Clean front door and glass

🌳 EXTERIOR

• Mow the lawn & trim shrubs

• Remove vehicles from the driveway

• Hide trash bins, hoses, and garden tools

• Clean up pet waste, toys, or yard clutter

• Stage patio/deck with pillows, flowers, and a clean table

🕒 BONUS TIPS:

• 📅 Plan to leave the house for the duration of the shoot (including pets!)

• 🧽 Do a quick final sweep 30 minutes before the photographer arrives
