How to determine if a building is FHA approved

Step 1 – Visit this link

Step 2 – Enter in State, County and Zipcode ONLY (no other fields)

Step 3 – Look at the address on the left column and then look at Status.

Step 4 – Ask the Lender and Attorney if a “spot” approval is possible

Sometimes “spot” approvals can be made to approve individual units for FHA rather than the entire building.
