This guide will help you maintain a consistent and professional brand image while ensuring compliance with Illinois Real Estate License Law, IAR (Illinois Association of Realtors), and NAR (National Association of Realtors) guidelines. Please follow the branding and compliance rules outlined below when creating marketing materials.
Kale Realty Brand Colors
To maintain consistency across all marketing materials, it is important to use Kale Realty’s official colors:
- Primary Color – Kale Blue:
- RGB : 25, 57, 108
- CMYK : 77, 47, 0, 58
These colors should be the dominant colors in your marketing materials to reflect the brand accurately.
Kale Realty Logos
We offer two approved versions of the Kale Realty logo, which can be used interchangeably:
1. Blue Font Logo
2. White Font Logo
Both logo options can be found here. When using the logo, ensure it is not altered in any way and maintains its original proportions and clarity. Avoid stretching, changing the color, or modifying the design .
Equal Housing Logo
The Equal Housing Opportunity logo is required by the IAR and NAR to appear on every marketing piece . This includes business cards, brochures, flyers, social media posts, websites, and other promotional materials. Make sure to include this logo prominently alongside the Kale Realty logo. Creating Your Own Marketing Materials
If you plan to create your own marketing materials outside of the pre-approved Kale Realty templates, such as:
- Business Cards
- Flyers
- Brochures
- Mailers
- Billboards
- Bench Backs
- Door Hangers
- For sale signs
Submit your designs for approval before they go live to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Send them to info@kalerealty.com for a quick review.
This step helps protect both your license and Kale Realty’s company license. State compliance fines start at $1,000 and can go up to $20,000 , so it’s crucial to follow this process to avoid costly penalties.
Additional Branding Guidelines
1. Fonts : Stick to professional fonts that complement the Kale brand. Sans-serif fonts like Arial, Helvetica, or similar clean fonts are recommended.
2. Imagery : Use high-quality images that reflect professionalism and the real estate industry. Avoid cluttered or low-resolution images.
3. Consistency : All marketing materials should align with Kale’s brand tone—professional, approachable, and trustworthy. Consistency in color, font, and logo usage is key to maintaining a strong brand presence.
4. Compliance : Along with displaying your license number and the broker affiliation (Kale Realty), include required legal disclosures and other mandated information, on all materials.
