Real Geeks Setup in 10 Minutes

Goal: Be ready to capture, follow up, and track leads—today.


Step 1 (Minute 0–2): Website Request & Profile Photo


☐ Upload:

  • Professional headshot (high resolution, front-facing)

  • Correct name, email, and phone number


Rule: Your website and CRM can’t be activated correctly without this step.

Non-negotiable: No photo = delayed setup.



Minute 2–3: Log In & Profile Check

☐ Log into Real Geeks

☐ Confirm profile details:

  • Name

  • Email

  • Phone number

☐ Confirm photo is visible (once synced)


Rule: If a lead replies today, they should immediately recognize you.



Minute 3–5: Notification Settings


☐ Turn ON notifications for:

  • New leads

  • Lead replies

  • Tasks due

☐ Choose how you receive alerts:

  • Email

  • Text (if enabled)


Rule: Speed to lead beats perfect messaging.



Minute 5–6: Add Your Sphere


☐ Import contacts or manually add 5–10 people:

  • Friends

  • Family

  • Past clients

  • Warm prospects


☐ Apply tags:

  • Sphere

  • Past Client

  • Warm Lead


Rule: A CRM with no real contacts is just expensive storage.



Minute 6–8: Create 3 Core Tags


Create ONLY these to start:

Hot – Active

Warm – Nurture

Cold – Long Term

(Optional Launch Coach tags)

Open House Lead

Buyer – Pre-Approval Pending

Seller – Future


Rule: Simple tags = faster follow-up.



Minute 8–9: Set 3 Default Tasks


☐ Call new lead within 5 minutes

☐ Day 1 follow-up

☐ Day 3 follow-up


Rule: Tasks tell you what to do when your brain is tired.



Minute 9–10: One Saved Search + Daily Rule


☐ Create one saved search:

  • Your most common price range

  • One target area

☐ Block 15–30 minutes daily for CRM follow-up

☐ Commit to this rule:“No new day until yesterday’s tasks are complete.”



You’re Live

By the end of 10 minutes, you should have:

✔ Website request submitted

✔ Photo uploaded

✔ Notifications working

✔ Contacts added

✔ Tags applied

✔ Tasks assigned
