Keep this checklist handy whenever you prospect by phone! ✅ Before You Call Check the National DNC Registry – Scrub your call lists. Check Kale’s Internal DNC List – If someone has asked not to be contacted, you cannot call again. Verify Business Relationship – You may call if: You’ve completed a transaction in the last 18 months , OR The person inquired in the last 3 months . 📋 When You Call Only call between 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM local time . Always identify yourself as a Kale Realty broker. Respect requests to stop calling—add them to Kale’s internal DNC list immediately. Keep notes on the source of your lead and outcome of the call. 🚫 Never Do Do NOT cold-call numbers on the National DNC list without a valid exception. Do NOT ignore “Do Not Call” or “Do Not Contact” requests (verbal or written). Do NOT use autodialers or robocalls for residential prospects. ⚠️ Penalties for Violations Fines of up to $51,744 per call (FTC/TCPA). Possible state penalties and lawsuits. If your broker license was issued before 11/01/23 – YES to CE, YES to renewal If your broker license was issued on or after 11/01/23 – NO to CE, NO to renewal If your broker license hasn’t been issued yet – NO to CE, NO to renewal If you’re an attorney with a broker license issued before 11/01/23 – NO to CE, YES to renewal If you’re an attorney with a broker license issued on or after 11/01/23 – NO to CE, NO to renewal If you’re a licensed leasing agent (not a broker) – NO to CE, NO to renewal If you’re a managing broker – NO to CE, NO to renewal How can I tell when my license was issued? Kale Realty Fee Structure (Effective 01/01/25) Kale Realty offers a straightforward and competitive fee structure designed to support broker success with transparency and flexibility. Below is the official breakdown of fees effective January 1, 2025. Administrative Fees Listing Administrative Fee : $250 Charged for each residential property listed on the MLS. Rental Administrative Fee : $95 Charged when posting a rental property on the MLS. Transaction Fee : $400 Applied to each completed sales transaction. Membership & Recurring Fees Annual Fee : $249 One-time annual brokerage membership fee. Monthly Fee : $54 Recurring monthly fee to maintain active broker status. Rental & Commercial Transaction Fees Residential Rental Fee : 20% + $15 Deducted from the gross commission earned on rental transactions. Fee Cap & Support Services Cap on Transaction Fees : $6,000 Once reached within a calendar year, no further transaction fees are charged. Transaction Coach Fee : 1% + $400 Optional service providing personalized support during a sales transaction.This fee is required for all agents completing their first sales transaction . Mentor Fee : 0.75% Optional mentorship program for developing brokers seeking additional guidance.
